The role is based in Cape Town.
To co-ordinate the planning and fulfillment of 360-degree campaigns to ensure visibility and growth of the brand within the SA market.
- A 3-year Marketing or Advertising Diploma
- 3 – 5 years’ experience with brands or an agency environment
- Retail experience
- A strong understanding of lifestyle brands and the market opportunities within the retail, wholesale and Ecommerce sector
- 360-degree approach to communication
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Highly organized and deadline driven
- Proficient in Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Own vehicle
Brand and Product Campaigns
- Work closely with management to strategize and design a strong communications plan in the SA market
- Maintain brand excellence across all channels (including but not limited to social media, digital applications, PR, above the line, activations & events, exhibitions and stores)
- Set and measure realistic campaign KPIs that drive the brand forward
- Ongoing updating of company promotional calendar
- Competitor and market analysis
- Set and manage marketing budgets with management
- Manage the flow of all work with external agencies
- Ensure briefs are accurately and timeously received from the business leads in relation to the marketing calendar (for retail, wholesale and Ecommerce)
- Manage the project plan with external agencies on all campaign requirements
- Deadline management
- Campaign reporting and analysis
- Manage the PR, events and activations portfolio
- Work with the team to create world class campaigns
- Manage spend in accordance with budgets
- Create exciting and innovative PR and activation plans in support of the retail and brand calendars to ensure maximum ROI
- This will include (but not limited to): press releases, advertorials, competitions and all editorial liaison, media right opportunities, generation of seeding drops and influencer campaigns, brand activations, retail activations and grassroots events
- Efficient reporting for global brand team requirements
